Thrilling changes to Cannes Young Lions makes festival more accessible
Incredible modifications to Cannes Young Lions will see the 2016 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity bigger and better than ever before, with added incentive for South African creatives to enter for a once in a lifetime experience.
2016 will see just one Young Lions Classic Pass that will grant access to the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity for the full eight days, from 18 to 25 June, for all delegates under the age of 30 years. This will include full access to the Palais for all Talks, the exhibition of the work, awards ceremonies, screenings, networking spaces and the Young Lions Party. The Young Lions Classic Pass will cost €1 850 (*R28 229).
Cannes Young Lions is also introducing a Young Lions Classic Competitor Pass, which will grant access for all the Young Lion Competitors for the whole eight days of the Cannes Young Lions Festival of Creativity. The Competitor Pass includes the same access as a Young Lions Classic, including full access to the Palais for all Talks and other events listed above. The Young Lions Classic Competitor Pass will cost €1 295 (*R19 760).
The ages limit for competitors will also be raised to 30, making the Young Lions Competitions eligible to anyone born after 25 June 1985, across all of the categories.
What these fantastic changes mean is that those contestants who have their competitions scheduled for later in the week will no longer have to pay more than those earlier in the week and those contestants scheduled earlier in the week will be able to enjoy the full Festival experience.

The changes to Cannes Young Lions make it simpler, fairer and easier for the winners of the regional competitions to access the whole Festival, whichever competition they are taking part in.
