The Loeries Exhibition at Ster-Kinekor V&A Nouveau
Cinemark has been very busy in the last period delivering value and insights to the media and advertising industry by hosting an exhibition, a seminar and networking events.
Cinemark held the Loeries Exhibition at Ster-Kinekor V&A Nouveau from the 17th to the 19th September.
The exhibition was kicked off with a cocktail party for industry players and the media where drinks and canapés were enjoyed by the guests whilst they walked through the exhibition of winning works.
In October Mr Philip Thomas, CEO of the Lions Festivals and acclaimed industry expert, was brought out to South Africa to share insights from the pinnacle of the advertising’s industry, Cannes Lions, on winning brand communication campaigns across the globe and what they mean for business top line performance. Examples were draw from Unilever, P&G and McDonalds in a once-off opportunity for creative, media and marketing professionals – The Learnings from the Lions Breakfast.
Cinemark also hosted the Cannes Lions VIP Winners Reel Screenings in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban in the month of October, showcasing winning work from the recent festival held in June which highlights best practice in brand communication while setting the benchmark for effective marketing for the year ahead.
